Basic Butter & Poppy Seed Sauce Recipe
Amazing little 5 minute pasta sauce recipe that goes well with all the home-made tagliatelle flavours. My picks would be; Beetroot, Butternut, Lemon & Parsley Tagliatelle. This is perfect for about 400g of pasta.
Ingredients for basic butter & poppy seed sauce
- 400g tagliatelle
- 80g butter
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (lightly crushed in a mortar)
- 60g grated parmesan cheese
- Pepper
Ingredients for basic butter & poppy seed sauce
Brown butter lightly and add poppy seeds and pepper. Pour over hot, cooked Tagliatelle and add parmesan cheese and maybe more pepper.
